🚀 — Planetary Jump, Geoengineering, Climate Change, the Moon and Mars
Expressed at the end of 2023 (early 2024)
Using two concepts from Archipel de pensée (from 2018, see here), that can be translated to "Planetary Jump" and "Seeing Climate Change as a study-ground for Geoingeenering" we can map out the logicalest way to get move Humankind to space.
➠ Concepts recall
Planetary Jump : this simply express the fact that colonizing a new world (like the Moon or Mars) crystalize state-of-the-art technical, humans and financial expertise toward this new world, hence raising questions about "jump" iterations and anticipations (Moon then Mars, or else) and selection of individuals and technology.
Seeing Climate Change as a study-ground for Geoengineering : considering the actual context of Climate Change on Earth and on its impact the whole biosphere, anticipation scenarii can reveal extremely vital clues about the usefulness of individual and collective actions to give us insights about how to keep or preserve a world habitable. Thus, being extremely precious data for further space explorations or colonization — naming geoengineering (i.g. for data : see Micro-paper : warning about nature and straight lines — on this page or @ Strategic Review)., on
➠ Logical time-frame of application
Execution of the second concept about studying geoengineering through Climate Change reaction on Earth.
Application of the Planetary Jump concept on the Moon.
Merging of the both concepts for Mars exploration with a second iteration of "Planetary Jump" (going to the Moon then Mars) in an attempt to make it habitable again (see here) — naming geoengineering. Why so ?
a. Because maintaining an artificial living biosphere on the Moon is extremely difficult due to gravitational constraints, and ;
b. The cost effectiveness of flying rockets from Moon's ground to Mars is way cheaper than flying from Earth to Mars, and ;
c. The technological bricks requiring to be tested for going to Mars (the Moon being the cheapest and closest destination to do it firstly). :-*
