➠ Details
The caterpillar is a cyber worm that can also replicate itself to spread to other computers, but have securing capacities (for ports, breach, apps, malwares, spywares, firmware, pub-wares, crypto-wares, etc.) — instead of destroying assets, you can make it massively hatch by releasing it in the wild to secure computers (especially old computer parks not secured by antivirus).
➠ Example
A caterpillar forcing a pip --upgrade pip inside your Linux intranet to wash away old exploits used by pip2. Which could also be useful if the intranet's administration is messy since the 2000'.
Caterpillars could be used as a new vector of cybersecurity, under common international agreements, caterpillars could massively hatch everywhere to correct exploits ; i.e. : forcing terminals to use Bluetooth 4.0
