Idea from late 2023
It may be possible to integrate Directed Energy Weapons in next generations games like COD, MW, HALO, etc. This would be a FPS games renewal as well as a way to ensure a collective immunity against some malicious uses of Directed Energy Weapons : for entertainment and preparedness.
It could be done under the form of a special gun that would make the player hear "auditive hallucinations" induced by the Directed Energy Weapons. Theses induced false perceptions — formerly known as V2K or Voice-2-Skull (see here) — could make the player do bad and critical choices, through :
False footsteps
False orders
False gunshots
This could orient the player toward a trap, inducing new game choices and mechanics. From a global level this:
Could bring freshness to the whole game industry, and ;
Open totally new and exclusives games mechanics, and ;
Eventually prepare young generations to react to V2K assaults from Directed Energy Weapons
