A simple concept where a mechanical rail is used to drown the plastics wastes (bottle-like). The pressure crushes the wastes reducing their volume (see this phenomenon here) while the bacteria Ideonella Sakaiensis is used to degrade the crushed plastic waste in a compartment at the bottom of the sea.

Special use case : second-life for sea oil platforms.
