⛑️ — Artificial Intelligence : Cyber-Firefighter

Concerning the possibility of creating artificial intelligence moving or operating on electrical grids (here we were in 2017), I proposed to use this concept to create cyber-firefighters — partly to avoid experimental funding for discriminatory or military uses by authoritarian states.

That said, I'm here to show you the digital siren.

These artificial intelligence serving as cyber-firefighters could function by massively and quickly analyzing the flow of information from smart electrical meters (such as Linky in France) or other types of data-stream that could automatically feed it to detect fire-outbreak and deactivate the household's meters for safety reasons (switching the local grid off to avoid rapid fire spread).

This could also provide support to firefighters in the current tense context (social crisis in France in 2024). This support could be provided in terms of fire detection (by artificial intelligence) and, or, intervention preparation (speaking about temporization and securization).

Finally, these cyber-firefighters' achievements could be related in the press and be romanticized in the culture, and in particular (because it will definitely make them love it) for children in the form of a super- hero or super-heroine.
